Senior Cable Assembler
Full-Time | Permanent
Adecco Recruitment is partnering with an established manufacturing client to hire a Senior Cable Assembler This is an ideal opportunity for someone currently working in cable assembly who wants to grow into a more technical, development‑focused role. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
The Role
You'll be part of the product development team, helping to introduce new products and improve existing production processes. Training and support will be given, and this role is well-suited to someone practical, hands-on, and keen to progress.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities
Assisting in creating work instructions and participating in design reviews
Helping to improve manufacturing processes and workflows
Assisting with the design and development of tooling, jigs, and fixtures
Carrying out basic audits and supporting continuous improvement activities
Contributing to improvements in quality, efficiency, and consistency across production
About You
We're looking for someone motivated, practical, and eager to learn. Ideal for a cable assembler or similar who wants to step into a development role.
You will have:
Experience in cable assembly, wiring, crimping, soldering, or hands-on manufacturing
Ability to read or willingness to learn to read technical drawings
A practical, problem-solving mindset and a keen eye for detail
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Basic Microsoft Word/Office skills
