Job Summary
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our in‑house clinical team at Chestnut Hill School, a specialist independent day school for children and young people aged 8‑19.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver bespoke occupational therapy assessment and intervention for pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence, or socio‑emotional and mental health needs.
* Work within the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working and maintain a person‑centred approach.
* Hold an occupational therapy caseload with support from a designated clinical supervisor and lead clinician.
* Contribute to staff training and consultation as required.
* Collaborate closely with the education team to support pupil independence and learning.
Essential Criteria
* BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy
* Valid and up‑to‑date HCPC Registration
* Registered member of RCOT
* Experience providing occupational therapy services in a similar setting, with a record of working with neuro‑divergent and/or socio‑emotional and mental health learners.
* Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and its practical application to promote independence.
* Experience working in multi‑professional teams.
* Ability to work independently, flexibly and confidently.
* Clear and concise report‑writing skills.
* Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.

Chestnut Hill School – Flintshire, Wales CH8 9DX
Hours & Contract
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Permanent). Flexibility around term‑time contract can be discussed.
Salary
Up to £53,200 DOE.
