Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter to join ongoing project in Stafford.
Key Responsibilities
* Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber components to construct structural frameworks, floors, and walls.
* Installing joists, staircases, partition walls, door linings, and window casings during the first fix stage.
* Fitting doors, skirting boards, architraves, window boards, and decorative trims as part of the second fix.
* Ensuring all work is carried out to precise measurements and high standards of finish.
* Reading and interpreting drawings and plans to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
* Working alongside other trades to ensure smooth progress of projects from start to finish.
* Maintaining a safe and tidy work area and complying with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Blue CSCS Card with NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery (preferably)
* Minimum of 4 years' experience in Carpentry.
* Own tools and PPE.
* Ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail.
* Good communication and reliability are essential.
