Join Lindleys Autocentres as a Workshop Manager. This role is permanent with a basic salary of £37,500 and an OTE of £48,000 including profit share.

Responsibilities
Workshop Operations & Coordination
* Allocate jobs efficiently based on technician skills and availability.
* Oversee job progress, provide technical support, and ensure quality standards.
* Manage workshop schedule, shift planning, and technician resources.
Compliance & Safety
* Ensure DVSA, MOT, and Health & Safety compliance across workshop operations.
* Maintain workshop equipment, calibration, and safety logs.
Productivity & Quality Control
* Monitor technician performance and minimise reworks.
* Drive high standards through regular audits and parts readiness.
Team Support & Communication
* Act as the link between technicians and Service Advisors/Managers.
* Mentor junior team members and help identify training needs.
Qualifications
Must Haves
* Strong technical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and compliance (MOT, servicing, brakes, etc.).
* Proven experience in managing workshop operations and technician teams.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
Nice to Have
* Experience with workshop management software and job card systems.
* Relevant technical certifications or qualifications (e.g., IMI, ATA).
