We are looking for a Full Time Support Worker to join our team. Oaktrees Rated GOOD by CQC supports 6 male Service Users who have a diagnosis of autism. The Service Users are very active and involved in many community activities; including singing in the village choir! They also enjoy attending their local pub, trips out to the zoo, the local shops, BBQs and picnics. The Caretech Group is a Sponsored Employer but our sponsorship programme is currently full. You will be required to: Provide individuals with practical and emotional care, enabling them to lead as ordinary life as they can achieve. To help them achieve this you will need to be flexible as you are required to work shifts including bank holidays, weekends and potential sleep ins. Participate in the day to day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment. Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families and others whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality. Support service users with the preparation of Meals, Laundry duties, cleaning and social events. Maintain accurate notes and records as and when required. Work as part of a team to provide high quality care. Must Have: The passion to work with vulnerable adults Able to reach it’s rural location Location, Hours & Pay: Oldhurst, rural location. 35 hours per week. £12.71 per hour.
