Service and LEV Engineer Position Overview
Service and LEV Engineer required for a growing ventilation company. Due to ongoing success they are seeking a self-motivated engineer with a mechanical mindset to join their expanding Service & LEV team.
The company design, install and maintain ventilation systems across several industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Education sector, Defence, Nuclear, and Renewables.
Responsible to the Field Service Manager and Operations Director, the role is to support the Field Service Manager with servicing, maintenance and testing of LEV extraction systems.
Duties include:
* Carry out servicing, maintenance along with LEV thorough examination and test assessments on customer's premises.
* All documentation to be completed and returned to the appropriate department within agreed timescales.
* Maintaining stocks of standard parts and spare parts on service vehicle.
* Ensuring all tools and equipment used are maintained in good working order.
* Territory management working with the service co-ordinator.
This is a national role and there will be the need for UK wide travel. If the customer's premises are far enough, staying overnight nearby may be necessary to optimize time for completing the job or traveling to the next location.
Service and LEV Engineer Position Requirements
* Knowledge of LEV systems and a mechanical background would be an advantage.
* 2 years' experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
* BOHS P601 qualification as a minimum.
* BOHS P602 and P604 would be an advantage.
* Full UK Driving License.
Service and LEV Engineer Position Remuneration
* £30,000 - £40,000 a year, based on experience
* Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:00 and Friday 08:00-15:00
