At Evri Premium, we’re looking for a high-performing Sortation Manager to lead and deliver excellence across our fast-paced sortation operation.
This is a critical leadership role where you’ll drive performance, manage large teams, and ensure parcels are processed safely, efficiently, and accurately—all while maintaining the highest service standards.
About the Role
You’ll take full ownership of the sortation operation, ensuring all activity meets operational targets while continuously improving productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. You’ll play a key role in protecting revenue, maintaining compliance, and driving a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
1. Oversee daily sortation activities to consistently achieve performance targets
2. Manage parcel flow to ensure on-time processing and dispatch
3. Monitor and drive KPIs including productivity, accuracy, and throughput
4. Strengthen revenue protection by identifying and reducing financial risks, inefficiencies, and process gaps
People Leadership
5. Lead, coach, and develop a team of supervisors and operatives
6. Plan and manage labour effectively, including shift and resource allocation
7. Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary processes
8. Ensure operational continuity by managing short-notice resourcing needs
9. Promote engagement, wellbeing, and a positive team culture
Health & Safety
10. Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety policies and procedures
11. Lead by example to promote a strong safety-first culture
12. Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
Quality & Compliance
13. Maintain high standards of accuracy and service delivery
14. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and operational standards
15. Support audits and drive improvements where required
Continuous Improvement
16. Identify and implement improvements across efficiency, productivity, and cost
17. Drive operational improvement initiatives and embed best practices
Stakeholder Management
18. Work collaboratively with transport, final mile, planning, and customer service teams
19. Provide clear performance updates to senior leadership
20. Partner with other sites to share best practice and ensure consistency
What We’re Looking For
21. Proven experience in a high-volume logistics, warehouse, or sortation environment
22. Strong leadership and team management capability
23. Experience delivering performance through KPI management and process improvement
24. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
25. Strong analytical ability with experience interpreting performance data
26. Solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation
27. Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
