You’ll be part of the Home-to-School transport service, supporting over 1,000 students aged 4–25 using minibuses and taxis.This is a rewarding, term-time role ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, returning to work after a break, or partially retired candidates seeking meaningful part-time hours. What You’ll Be Doing * Ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of students during travel. * Providing cover for other Passenger Assistants when required. * Working closely with drivers, schools, and Council teams to ensure smooth journeys. * Supporting children and young adults, including those with SEND needs. ⏰ When You’ll Work * Monday to Friday * Usual times: 07:00–10:00 and 14:00–17:00 * Term-time only * Hours vary depending on route length and cover required (advertised 10 hrs/week, but may increase or decrease). * You will be picked up and dropped off at home before and after routes.
