We are working with a highly-respected precision engineering company based in Redruth that produces machined components for markets that include aerospace, oil & gas, defence, marine and other commercial sectors.
The company is expanding towards a head-count of 50 staff and is presently seeking a skilled CNC programmer who is able to also use CAD/CAM software to create CNC programs and the supporting documentation for setting. The successful applicant can look forward to joining a highly-skilled engineering team and will be responsible for the technical engineering requirements. Whilst you will be reporting to the Lead Engineer, the role carries a level of autonomy which encourages personal development ownership and task ownership.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Creating CNC programs and accompanying documentation
* Creating processes and defining their parameters
* Ensuring full compliance with AS9100 business management system
* Inputting the production schedule
* Management of the Production Engineering elements to ensure the schedule can be met
* Bringing the technical element to the Route Cause Analysis events
* Working alongside the Quality Team to ensure quality processes are in place and performing
* Outlining the technical aspects of quotations
* New Product introduction
