Job Description:
The Osteotec Spine Division is searching for a Territory Sales Manager to join their team in the West Midlands. Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, and Derby would be the ideal locations.
Brief Description: The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales in the designated territory in line with company objectives.
Under the guidance of the Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Manager manages all elements of the sales cycle, including setting objectives, planning, implementing activities, reviewing results, and adjusting plans accordingly.
The role involves growing Osteotec’s business by directly selling products to Spine Surgeons, clinical and non-clinical decision makers, and supporting customer acquisition through technical expertise in the territory.
Responsibilities:
* Promote, demonstrate, and sell a range of spine products to NHS and private hospitals.
* Achieve sales targets and KPIs monthly and annually.
* Demonstrate medical equipment in theatre and clinical settings.
* Conduct trials and evaluations to promote sales.
* Provide excellent customer service and support customer acquisition.
* Develop and execute an effective sales business plan.
* Manage resources and materials, including consignment stock.
* Build relationships with key customers and decision makers, including surgeons and hospital staff.
* Organize and lead training workshops for surgical staff.
* Report regularly to Sales Managers on sales activities and market insights.
* Maintain relationships with opinion leaders in the territory.
* Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards.
* Collaborate with other company departments to meet sales objectives.
* Spend approximately 80% of time in theatre environments.
* Perform other relevant duties as needed.
Qualifications and skills include excellent interpersonal skills, decisiveness, ambition, tenacity, organizational ability, adaptability, effective planning, discipline, and computer proficiency. Proven sales experience, especially in medical devices within spine, orthopaedics, or theatre environments, is essential. A valid driving license is required.
