Appoints a Senior Childrens Residential Care Worker to join the Esland team.

Working Details
* Department: Residential
* Employment Type: Permanent – Full Time
* Location: Villa Farm – Shifnal, UK
* Reporting To: Sarah Bourne
* Salary: £34,084 – £37,509 per annum (includes £60 pay for 10 monthly sleeps and an hourly rate of £12.95 – £14.60). Overtime available at an enhanced rate.
* Hours: 173 hours per month – 2 days on, 4 days off, with sleep‑in’s. Operational 365 days a year.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide person‑centred, therapeutic care to young people in a four‑bed residential setting.
* Support educational, emotional and extracurricular needs through personalised care plans.
* Maintain safe, compliant and supportive environment and ensure Ofsted standards are met.
* Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary team to deliver holistic care, including crisis intervention and trauma‑informed support.
* Engage with schools to facilitate educational progression as per individual needs.
* Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory guidelines.
Essential Qualifications
* Minimum 12 months experience in a children’s residential care home.
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
* In‑depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and best practice.
* Alignment with Esland values – therapeutic, person‑centred approach to childcare.
* Age 21 or above (industry regulation).
