Job Description:
The role
We are looking for an experienced solicitor to join the Real Estate National Service Line (¿NSL¿). Based in Leeds, you will handle your own caseload and assist partners and fee earners with a wide range of commercial property work.
Areas of work include:
* Land acquisitions including options and conditional contracts
* Property investment acquisitions and disposals for both buyers and sellers
* Representing landlords and tenants in business lease matters
* Retail, leisure, and healthcare development work (excluding construction)
* General management tasks such as:
* Licences
* Easements
* Lease renewals
* Property finance
Client base
Our clients include developers, corporate occupiers with multiple sites, property investors, family trusts, private offices, and global investment funds.
The person
You should have 5+ years¿ PQE or equivalent experience in commercial real estate, gained in a large regional or City law firm.
Skills and attributes

Working with
You will work with partner Simon Sherwood and his team in Leeds, including Partner Andrea Newman, as part of the firm-wide Real Estate NSL led by Richard Hanson, supported by professional support lawyers. Collaboration with other partners on projects or client teams is also expected.
