Get Further is an award-winning charity tackling educational inequality. As a Lead Tutor, you’ll deliver impactful tuition to small groups (1-3 students) using our ready‑made resources—while mentoring fellow tutors, supporting quality delivery, and driving student progress.

Qualifications
* Commitment to tackling educational inequality
* Excellent communication & mentoring skills
* At least 3 months’ prior experience tutoring or teaching
* GCSEs (C/4+), A-Level (B+), degree (2:1 or strong 2:2 considered)
* Minimum 15 hours/week availability (with 11am‑12pm free Fridays)
* Right to work in the UK
* Ability to travel to placement locations (some may require access to a car)
* Experience as Senior Tutor, English or Maths Teacher, Learning Mentor, Programme Officer, Education Coordinator, or Lead Educator
Compensation and Benefits
* £25,600–£27,100 salary (pro‑rata)
* 36 days annual leave (pro‑rata, incl. bank holidays)

What You'll Do
* Deliver weekly maths or English tuition (80% of role)
* Coach and support Flex Tutors through peer mentoring and session observations
* Help develop resources and contribute to tutor training
* Track student attendance and progress
* Champion Get Further’s mission onsite with students and staff
