Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity
12-month secondment to cover substantive post holders maternity leave.
Existing permanent employees must discuss secondment with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form prior to interview. The secondment request form and associated policy can be found on the HR/Recruitment intranet pages. The agreement must be signed by the substantive line manager and submitted with the application.
Responsibilities
* Deliver accurate and robust financial management information for specified budget areas within set timescales.
* Provide specialist and detailed financial advice to budget managers in support of organisational priorities including financial balance.
* Ensure the integrity and development of management accounting information systems and processes.
* Act as the professional finance contact for specific areas.
Qualifications
Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
Working Conditions
From 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. The hourly rate will be increased accordingly so that pay will not be affected.
Sponsorship
Applicants who require sponsorship to work in the UK should review the eligibility criteria for the Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visa routes. NHS Forth Valley may offer sponsorship for certain roles if the post meets the minimum salary threshold and other criteria. Current Skilled Worker visa holders may be subject to transitional arrangements. Sponsorship is assessed on a case‑by‑case basis following interview and at the commencement of pre‑employment checks.
