Infrastructure Logistics Specialist – Permanent Full‑Time
Location: Slough – Monday to Friday, full‑time.
Pay: £75,000 – £85,000, subject to experience.
In this role you will provide logistics advisory, planning and integration experience to complex construction and infrastructure programmes. Working closely with client and delivery teams, you will help diagnose logistics challenges, reduce delivery risk and enhance programme certainty, either as a short‑term advisor or as an embedded member of a delivery team.
Responsibilities
* Develop, review and assure logistics plans covering workforce, vehicle movements, access, welfare and site space.
* Identify logistics risks and constraints, including conflicts, capacity pressures and operational pinch points.
* Work alongside project teams as a dedicated logistics specialist.
* Advise clients on logistics strategy, feasibility and delivery risk, ensuring alignment with programme objectives.
* Provide clear, data‑led insights to support programme‑ and portfolio‑level decisions.
* Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, tools and ways of working across programmes and projects.

Essential Qualifications
* 10–20 years of professional experience in logistics, construction, infrastructure, consulting or project/programme delivery.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
* Experience operating in complex, constrained or live project environments.
* Ability to build effective relationships and communicate clearly with delivery teams and senior stakeholders.
* Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of market drivers.
* A practical, delivery‑focused mindset with an emphasis on execution.
* Confidence, independence and a proactive approach.
Desirable Qualifications
* Experience in logistics planning, modelling or forecasting.
* Experience in advisory roles or embedded project positions.
* Client relationship management capability.
* Exposure to both client‑side and advisor‑side environments.
* Understanding of a variety of project delivery methodologies.
* Programme‑level or multi‑project experience.
* Experience using data to support planning and forecasting.
