Our drivers are one of the most important roles within EV Cargo, and as a fully qualified Class 2 Driver, you will have the important role of delivering products to our customers whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITES:
* Use of a handheld terminal to record accurate information;
* Occasionally driving 3.5t vehicles during peak periods;
* Maintain cleanliness of vehicle;
* Driving Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly;
* Ensure you do your daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use;
* Ensure you inform the transport office of any problems in good time i.e. if you’re running late;
* Fit to drive; considering alcohol intake, daily rest, prescribed/over the counter medication that could affect your ability to drive;
* To ensure you arrive at your job on time;
* Maintain health and safety standards;
* Operating in a safe way, following all road rules;
* Ensure all paperwork is correct, completed and returned to the transport office;
* Delivering goods to various locations.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Refrigeration experience is preferred but not essential;
* Valid Digital Tachograph card is essential;
* Completed CPC training course;
* Class 2 Driving License (C+E);
* Flexibility;
* Strong logistical and geographical knowledge;
* Multi-drop experience preferred;
* Ability to be adaptable and flexible with start & finish times;
* Fully completed driver CPC;
* HGV / LGV Class 2 licence with at least 12 months experience;
* Good work Ethic.
