Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements:
* Proficiency in core development languages, particularly .Net Core and C#.
* Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
* Strong numerical and financial skills with the capability to interpret financial information and design and utilize financial models.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels within the organization, including the Front Office.
* Hands-on experience with automated testing environments and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as a key member of the Front Office / Fixed Income Development Team, focused on delivering high-quality software solutions.
* Collaborate with the Product Owner and development team to provide well-designed and technically advanced solutions for business users.
* Engage in the design and development of new software, integrating with vendor systems, and participate in an on-call support rota.
* Contribute to various projects, leveraging tools like ION Anvil, Neptune, and other Front Office systems.
* Assist in executing the IT Strategy, supporting revenue-generating and regulatory initiatives to enhance the competitive edge of the Bank's IT systems.
* Promote Diversity and Inclusion throughout the team and organization.
* Ensure the effective and efficient operation of Fixed Income systems within the broader Bank environment to meet the trading desks' needs.
* Deliver rapid, high-quality software changes and solutions in an agile manner, including managing Scrums, Sprints, and deploying Releases.
* Provide guidance on the use and upgrade of .Net, .Net Core, C#, and other development tools to maximize business benefits.
* Carry out frequent .Net/C# tasks, focusing on delivering new projects, optimizing existing setups, and providing future-proofing insights on relevant data points.
* Advocate for enterprise data management and governance using Agile SDLC.
* Ensure timely and resilient delivery of regulatory and internal reporting while incorporating the latest industry and technology solutions.
* Collaborate regularly with traders and Desk heads to ensure their strategic objectives are met through technology initiatives.
