Draken Europe is recruiting Islander Captains (BN2T) based in Northern Ireland.
An Islander Captain is responsible for safety and security during aircraft operations under the sole supervision of the operating crew. They serve as a primary interface with customers, playing a crucial role in maintaining the company’s reputation, competitive position, and commercial success.
**Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:**
* UK CAA Pilot Licence
* Maintain command status on the aircraft type involved
* Over 1000 hours of flying experience
* Qualified and experienced as a Pilot
* Experience in managing aircrew
* Experience in delivering contracted flight operations
**Knowledge:**
* Flight operations management practices
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
* Civil flight operations environment
* Military or government aviation experience (desirable)
* Business management principles, including budgeting
* Customer operational requirements and platform capabilities
**Personal Skills/Abilities:**
* Strong focus on aviation safety and compliance
* Effective prioritization skills
* Leadership in airborne operations
* Effective communication and stakeholder relationship management
* High personal and professional integrity
* Organizational and time management skills
* Teamwork and adaptable leadership style
