Digital Sales Manager
Reporting to: Managing Director
Work location: 2d/week minimum in our Bristol office

After a period of investment in our innovative offerings, we are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Digital Sales Manager to grow our business by leading our digital sales initiatives and drive new business. This role will be pivotal in building our client base, managing the sales cycle from prospecting to close, and ensuring a smooth transition to our digital learning team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prospecting & Pipeline Management
* Identify and qualify leads to build and manage a robust sales pipeline across both Zing Total CPD and Zing Content.
* Promote all-in-one and content licensing solutions in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and MD.
* Research industry trends to identify new business opportunities.
Initial Demos
* Deliver tailored product demonstrations to prospective clients.
* Partner with the Digital Learning Managers for larger opportunities to showcase value.
* Capture client needs and position solutions effectively.
Proposal & Negotiation
* Set up trial accounts and manage ongoing prospect engagement.
* Prepare and deliver customised sales proposals.
* Negotiate terms to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
Secure New Business
* Finalise and issue new licence agreements.
* Consistently achieve and exceed agreed sales targets.
Networking
* Represent the company at events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
* Build visibility and thought leadership across social media platforms.
* Cultivate strong client relationships to maximise retention and upsell potential.
Campaign Coordination
* Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on digital campaigns and HubSpot initiatives.
* Provide insights and feedback from prospects to optimise future campaigns.
Handover & Client Success
* Ensure seamless transition of new clients to the Digital Learning Manager for onboarding.
* Support early-stage adoption in collaboration with the Digital Learning Manager
Reporting & Insights
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within HubSpot CRM.
* Provide regular pipeline and performance updates to the MD and senior management.
* Analyse and report on conversion rates, campaign effectiveness, and client feedback.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Required:
* Proven track record in selling B2B SaaS or another B2B digital product that included product demos (minimum 2 years).
* A strong passion for understanding the needs of a prospect and for meeting that need with a high-quality solution.
* Strong understanding of LMS, e-learning, or digital content solutions (preferred).
* Demonstrated success in managing the full sales cycle.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Proficiency with CRM / pipeline management tools
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
* Team player that shares our values of partnership and professionalism
Preferred/optional:
* Strong understanding of LMS, e-learning, or digital content solutions.
* Understanding / familiarity with insurance sector
* Experience specifically with Hubspot
