Role Overview
The Queen Elizabeth’s School Business Department is seeking a full-time permanent Teacher of Economics & Business for the 2025 academic year. The position requires teaching at Key Stage 4 & 5, including A Level and BTEC in the Sixth Form.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, deliver, and assess curriculum in Economics & Business for Key Stage 4 & 5.
* Support student learning, achievement, and progress through effective teaching practices.
* Collaborate with department colleagues to deliver whole‑class support and behaviour management.
Qualifications & Experience
* Awareness of Rosenshine’s principles of instruction.
* Understanding of key substantive and disciplinary concepts in business principles, economics, and entrepreneurship.
* Knowledge of teaching resources such as Tom Sherrington’s ‘Walkthru’ series or Doug Lemov’s ‘Teach Like a Champion’ series.
* Ability to promote high standards of student learning, attainment, and behaviour.
* Experience delivering inspirational lessons in a secondary school setting.
