We are seeking a creative, driven and enthusiastic Art ECT who is keen to inspire creativity, confidence and independent thinking through an engaging, ambitious and inclusive Art curriculum. As an Art Teacher, this role will involve delivering high-quality teaching across KS4 and KS5 within a supportive and well-established Creative Arts department. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Newly Qualified Art Teacher to begin their career in a nurturing and high-performing Outstanding school, where creativity is valued, student voice is championed, and professional development is taken seriously.

You will be supported by an experienced Head of Department, work alongside a passionate team of creative practitioners, and benefit from excellent classroom resources, specialist studios and well-equipped creative spaces. The department has a strong track record of excellent GCSE and A-Level outcomes, and places a strong emphasis on pupil engagement, experimentation and artistic expression.

Experience and Qualifications

* Degree in Art or a related creative subject

* PGCE with QTS

* Training to teach Art to KS4/5

* Passion for creative education and student development

* Strong classroom presence and a willingness to develop professionally


Salary

The salary for this Art ECT position will be paid to scale in line with MPS1.
