About this Role Are you a Hire Controller, Rental Controller or Hire Desk Coordinator looking for your next step, or an experienced administrator within asset rental ready for a new challenge? This Hire Controller role within our EMC Business Unit focuses on coordinating sweepers and specialist equipment hires across the UK, ensuring maximum fleet utilisation and customer satisfaction. Managing the full hire process from enquiry through to contract completion, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every stage Coordinating with service teams to ensure equipment is prepared, compliant, and ready for delivery Liaising with customers, credit control, and internal teams to convert enquiries into profitable hires Maintaining accurate hire records, fleet tracking systems, and daily operational documentation Supporting transport planning and logistics to ensure timely and cost effective delivery and collection About You You bring previous experience from a hire desk, rental coordination, or similar administrative role and enjoy working in a fast paced, detail focused environment. You are organised, confident communicating with customers and colleagues, and take pride in getting the detail right.
