Synergi are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineering Team Leader to join one of the leading Food Manufacturers based in Thetford. The successful Multi Skilled Engineering Team Leader would be joining an experienced team with a vast amount of industry knowledge and a company who invest in their staff.
As a Multi Skilled Engineering Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering team on shift and ensuring daily mechanical and electrical maintenance activities and standards are met. You will act as point of contact for shift engineering escalations and breakdowns of machinery.
Roles & Responsibilities as a Multi Skilled Engineering Team Leader
* Carry out daily mechanical and electrical maintenance activities
* Maintain clear communication between the Engineering and Operations teams.
* Conduct reactive and planned maintenance
* Trouble shoot breakdowns and maintain accurate records
* Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives
* Work effectively within a team and operate with flexibility
* Work safely and improve machine reliability
The Ideal background of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
* Qualifications in both electrical and mechanical engineering
* Knowledge of engineering regulations
* Proven engineering experience within a fast-paced environment
