Our client is seeking a confident, detail-driven Proposals Manager to lead on bid coordination, client engagement, and business growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys producing high-quality proposals and building strong client relationships without the pressure of cold calling or hard sales.
Their ideal candidate will be organised, detail-focused, and confident working across different teams. Experience within proposals, bids or tenders is ideal, with a strong business acumen and good attention to details. Experience in a technical or engineering setting is advantageous, though candidates with a relatable background will be considered.
The role offers a competitive salary of up to c£35,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits designed to support your wellbeing and work-life balance. Roles and Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate the preparation of high-quality bids, tenders, and proposals
* Use platforms such as SAP to oversee tender submissions
* Collaborate with technical teams to shape compelling project scopes
* Take ownership of incoming enquiries and ensure timely proposal delivery
* Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients
* Represent the company at networking events, webinars, and industry meetups
* Edit and polish documents to ensure professional and persuasive presentation
* Support marketing efforts including social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok)
Skills and Experience
* Experience managing proposals, bids and/or tenders
* Previous experience in a business support or administrative role, ideally in a technical or engineering setting
* Ability to build relationships with key clients
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
* Confident editing and reviewing technical documentation
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
