Responsibilities
* Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance, and policy matters
* Support the full employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding to disciplinary and exit processes
* Coach and empower line managers to build high‑performing teams aligned with GXO values
* Monitor and report on key HR metrics including headcount, turnover, and absence
* Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and contribute to the Site People Plan
Qualifications
* CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards this
* Strong ER casework background with solid knowledge of UK employment law
* Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor/Officer role
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A collaborative, flexible, and solutions‑focused mindset

Role Details
This role is a 12‑month Fixed Term position. You'll be working 'any 5 from 7', working 40 hours per week across our latest shift. We understand that flexibility is key, so we're happy to discuss and agree hours that work for everyone. We're looking to offer a salary of up to £38,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
