Job Description
This position leads cross-functional teams that drive
innovation, operational excellence, and cultural change across the enterprise. The
role requires a visionary leader with strong stakeholder engagement skills,
commercial acumen, and the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead development of the UK&I strategy, supporting functions and business units to ensure alignment with long-term
business goals and priorities
• Develop and oversee a portfolio of strategic programmes that deliver the strategy through measurable outcomes and
sustainable value.
• Enable the structuring and management of large-scale transformation programmes from concept to implementation.
• Ensure governance, budget control, and quality assurance across all strategic initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams, guiding operational and support functions to deliver against programme objectives.
• Provide regular updates to the Executive Leadership Team and Board on transformation progress.
• Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making from the CLT down and optimise transformation performance.
• Ensure benefits realisation and continuous improvement across the transformation portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, operational teams, and external partners.
• Influence and align stakeholders around transformation goals, ensuring buy-in and collaboration.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
• Able to work with stakeholders to develop and implement the long-term vision
and direction of ISS UK&I both Enterprise and Business Unit level
• Able to identify opportunities for growth and improvement and develop strategies and
plans to achieve these goals
• Background in managing large-scale change, preferably in service-based or
outsourcing environments.
• Strong understanding of programme governance, financial management, and
stakeholder dynamics.
• Ability to build organisational capability, both within a team and across an enterprise
• Exceptional leadership and influencing skills.
• Commercial and financial acumen
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving clarity.
• Strategic and analytical with senior level experience in governance and performance
• Highly organised and insightful with a strong grasp of business planning, impacting
reporting and risk
