Role Overview
The Head Teacher is looking for an experienced Plumbing Course Leader with teaching experience on a long‑term basis until the end of the academic year. The successful Course Leader will teach students, inspire them to pursue a career in the field and help learners achieve excellent results while following and implementing the schemes of learning.
Key Responsibilities
The Course Leader will: ensure lesson plans are delivered to the highest standard; support learners to meet assessment targets; work with the wider teaching team to continuously improve the course; and maintain accurate student progress records in the e‑portfolio system.
Qualifications
* Level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Education
* Knowledge of the Apprenticeship Standards and the E‑portfolio system (Smart Assessor) is beneficial
* Great industry experience and knowledge (crucial)
* Excellent spoken and written communication skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (desirable)
* Minimum Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English or equivalent
