Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time only with an additional 2 weeks to be agreed locally. Additional hours may be required for governor meetings.
About the Role
The Governors and Headteacher at Leven CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and self-motivated School Business Manager to join our vibrant, caring team.
This is a permanent post, offering an exciting and varied balance of responsibilities across finance, administration, site management, facilities, and health and safety. Working closely with senior leaders, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school and supporting our long-term aspirations.
The Person We Are Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
1. Has experience of school business management, ideally within the primary education sector.
2. Can lead and manage all aspects of the school’s non-teaching functions, including finance, administration, communications, premises, and health and safety.
3. Is a creative yet logical thinker, able to bring fresh ideas and practical solutions.
4. Demonstrates excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
5. Has a positive attitude, a relentless drive for excellence, and a commitment to making our school a warm, safe and friendly environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
