Implementation Engineer 3 at Amadeus
Key Responsibilities
* Flight Safety:
o Participate in ensuring that Flight Safety is at the forefront of our delivery.
* Database Management:
o Perform Airline Weight and Balance engineering (AHM565/X565) data analysis.
o Support Departure Control System (DCS) data configuration for engineering, seating & business related data.
o Perform tests to validate aircraft Weight & Balance data.
* Training:
o Present training material to internal and external customers.
o Assist in maintenance of training material.
o Perform administration of training delivery.
* Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Work with team members to continuously improve efficiency, productivity and Flight Safety.
o Deliver consultancy services to airline and other industry customers.
o Work with R&D teams to design, evaluate and test new system functionality against flight safety and compliance standards.
o Support the sales process with potential new customers.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Minimum 3 years experience in weight and balance limitations for airline operations.
* Minimum 3 years experience in the use of aircraft manufacturers technical documentation.
* Familiarity with system engineering and requirements management.
* Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
* Ability to travel for company, customer and industry meetings and events.
* Office attendance to be minimum 50%.
* Problem solving ability, team working and attention to detail.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and literate in Microsoft Word/Powerpoint.
Preferred Skills
* Knowledge of aviation regulations and certification standards.
* Familiarity with software development environment.
* Experience in aircraft performance.
* Experience with working on the airport RAMP.
* Knowledge of Amadeus Flight Management applications.
* Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage projects.
