Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care (Start-Up Service)
Location: Burnley
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full Time
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an ambitious and driven individual to lead a brand-new domiciliary care service in Burnley. This is a fantastic chance for an experienced Deputy Manager or Care Coordinator ready to step into a Registered Manager position.
You’ll be responsible for registering the service with CQC, building the service from the ground up, and creating a care team committed to delivering outstanding home care across the local community.
Key Responsibilities
Lead on the CQC registration process for the new service
Develop and implement operational policies and care delivery frameworks
Recruit, develop, and manage a brand-new team of care staff
Grow the business from 0 care hours to an established service
Maintain CQC compliance and manage future inspections
Build strong relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities
Provide daily operational management and leadershipRequirements
Previous management or supervisory experience in domiciliary care
Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulations
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
Ability to manage a service start-up process and drive business development
NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) preferredDesirable:
