Creative Lead - Manchester - c£38-42k (plus great benefits)
This Global consultancy have an 85 strong internal creative agency that design highly creative and innovative work on projects across the globe. Working within their creative agency, as a Creative Lead, you will be working on cross discipline projects, collaborating alongside a very talented creative team that consists of Brand and Graphic Designers, UX & UI Designers, Motion Designers & Animators, 3D visualisers, Developers and Creative Project Managers, to create work that has a purpose and is very varied. As they are a consultancy, they have multiple clients and a wide variety of projects, and they proudly deliver cutting edge brand and visual communication creative work. This role is based out of their Manchester office, which is very close to the train station. They operate a hybrid work policy of 3 days onsite with two fix days on Tuesday, Weds and Thursday. The salary for this role is c£38-42k plus a very good benefits package.

About the Role
As Creative Lead, you will support the Principal Designers and rest of the creative team across the business, in driving quality and creativity throughout the team.
You will bring your ideas, passion and high standards to a very broad range of graphic design briefs across branding, print and digital design. This is all about visual brand and communication and less about advertising and campaign. You will be empowered to challenge the brief and go above and beyond with your creative thinking.
You will get to work collaboratively with other Designers on very large, high-profile projects or individually on smaller briefs. And, the Designers who fit well here are those that seize any opportunity to solve a problem through creativity.
You’ll be taking briefs directly from stakeholders, communicating and conversing clearly with the internal team and external clients, so it’s important that you have good communication skills.
You have a service led approach and can brief creatives within the wider team to deliver against the projects set as well as being hands on where needed to be creative yourself within projects. You are empowered to challenge briefs and ways of thinking and they are open to new and innovative ways of working or delivering creative solutions to their clients.
This internal creative team runs like a creative agency, so whilst an in-house role, the fundamentals of how they work is very aligned to the agency world and as such, they have secured top creative talents from some of the leading agencies to join their talented creative team.
About You
You are a Creative Lead with strong conceptual and design craft skills. You are curious about new technologies, techniques and ways of creating designs and campaigns, enjoying pushing boundaries.
Your portfolio showcases branding and visual communication projects. Your work needs to show fresh ideas and a clean, contemporary design style and with a good appreciation of typography.
You are passionate and driven and want to be a part of the growth, vision and culture for this companies’ creative team, playing a big part in how it is shaped, helping to develop the best creative solutions whilst empowering their talented team.
You will be able to rationalise your ideas and present your work with ease. You consider yourself to have strong creative vision and can clearly communicate your ideas to others.
You are comfortable working directly with clients and enjoy building working relationships, and particularly enjoy being part of a busy, collaborative creative team.
You may have worked in-house or within a creative agency as a Senior Designer or Creative Lead and you consider yourself to have a strong creative vision which you can clearly communicate your ideas to others.
You are commercially minded and are able to scope out projects.
You enjoy mentoring/managing other creatives, helping them to develop their potential and inspire them.
You thrive in a fast-paced, progressive environment and love coming up with new ideas and sharing ideas with your colleagues.
Any previous exposure to projects containing AR/VR and digital solutions would be advantageous.
