This is a full-time, tenurable appointment available at either Level B or Level C, depending on the successful applicant’s qualifications, experience and achievements Base salary range: Level B, $118,150 – $139,812 and Level C, $144,143 - $165,809 p.a. About the opportunity Deliver innovative teaching in Mathematics, Science, or English for primary education; coordinate units and courses; contribute to curriculum design and assessment practices; supervise Honours, Masters, and PhD students. Build a research profile through publications, conference participation, and grant applications; engage in higher degree supervision and contribute to the School’s research excellence. Participate in School governance, strategic planning, and external partnerships; uphold standards of practice and contribute to inclusion and diversity initiatives; represent the University in professional and community settings. About you A completed doctorate in the field of Education or a closely related field. Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative high quality teaching approaches, assessment and materials for units and courses. Demonstrated ability to teach online or in flexible modes. Demonstrated record and expertise in teaching in Mathematics, or Science or English in a primary teacher education course. A demonstrable track record in excellence in research evidenced by peer-reviewed journal articles published in high quality journals relative to opportunity. Demonstrate evidence of successful supervision or co-supervision of HDR students, relative to opportunity. Demonstrable experience of participation in professional and scholarly activities engagements that promote research and/or education outcome, government and industry.
