Love making a difference in children’s lives? We’re looking for a full-time Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly, inclusive school community in Romford.
This is a Monday to Friday role where you’ll be part of the same school team each day, supporting children, building relationships, and helping them thrive across the term.
If you’ve worked with children with special educational needs (SEND) or simply have a caring, calm approach, this could be the role for you.

What you’ll be doing
* Support – Provide one-to-one support for pupils with SEND, helping them feel confident and included every day.
* Assist – Work with teachers to deliver individual learning plans that meet each pupil’s unique needs.
* Engage – Keep lessons fun, accessible, and positive — encouraging participation and celebrating progress.
* Manage – Use positive behaviour strategies to create a calm, supportive classroom environment.
* Communicate – Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to share updates and insights.
* Nurture – Help children develop independence, confidence, and a love for learning.

What we’re looking for
* Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs
* A caring, patient, and adaptable nature
* Understanding of different learning styles and approaches
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply)
* The right to work in the UK
* Availability for full-time work (Monday to Friday, school hours)
