Our Cardio‑Respiratory Units are friendly, busy, and rapidly expanding diagnostic services. Our cardiac catheterisation laboratory at King George Hospital offers a wide range of services, including diagnostic coronary angiography, pacemaker, ILR, ICD and CRT‑D implantation, and transoesophageal echocardiography. We are finalising our business case to start Coronary Stenting later this year.
We are seeking a forward‑thinking, enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated team of professionals, committed to delivering the highest standards of patient care and diagnostic excellence.
Applicants should be appropriately qualified and working at a highly specialist, senior level. You must be able to perform, interpret, and report echocardiograms with minimal or no supervision, assist with cardiac device implantation, and undertake device follow‑up clinics.
* Resting ECGs
* 24‑hour ECG and blood pressure monitoring
* Event recording
* Transthoracic, transoesophageal, and stress echocardiography
* Pacemaker/ICD/CRTD/ILR follow‑up
* Lung function testing
To provide a high quality, appropriate and effective Cardio‑Respiratory investigation service.
To supervise, guide and support all junior members of staff.
To be responsible for the organisation and delivery of an area of specialist responsibility as allocated by the Lead Cardiac Physiologist.
All new staff appointed at the Trust are subject to a probationary period.
