Job title: Consultant - Acute Medicine

Salary: £105,504 to £139,882 per annum

Responsibilities
* Develop and sustain a department delivering high quality care and ensuring work-life balance.
* Work on the hospital's Acute Medicine Admissions Unit.
* Implement new models of care and services for patients attending the hospital and local community.
* Teaching opportunities as part of the University of Exeter Medical School.
* Support part-time or job-share arrangements as needed.
* Collaborate with a team of Consultants and Specialty Doctors in relevant areas including Respiratory, Diabetes, Renal, Gastroenterology and Intensive Care.
Qualifications
* Essential: GMC Registration with a Licence to Practice; GMC Specialist Register or within six months of obtaining CCT (or equivalent) at time of interview.
* Experience of working in an Acute Medical Admissions Unit.
* Teaching experience (Medical students, peers, MDT).
* Desirable: Experience supporting Emergency Department.
