About the role:

* Opportunity to earn £90- £120 per day (dependent on experience)
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, ensuring that students remain on task and engaged in their learning. Maintaining a positive and orderly classroom environment is essential, along with managing behaviour in accordance with school policies. You will provide feedback to the regular class teacher on student participation and any notable issues, and support pupils as needed throughout the lesson. This role requires the ability to be flexible, confident, and committed to promoting a respectful and focused learning atmosphere.
Person Specification:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage a classroom and maintain discipline in a fair and respectful manner.
* Adaptability and the confidence to step into a range of subject areas.
* Previous experience in a school or youth setting is desirable but not essential.
* A genuine interest in the education and development of young people.
