What to Expect
As a Benefits and Pensions Manager, you will manage the Company’s pension portfolio (DC and legacy DB), focusing on education and governance, and oversee non-cash and group risk benefits, including flexible benefits and recognition. You will manage supplier and advisor relationships, drive engagement through education, and work as a key member of the reward team to ensure benefit arrangements are cost-effective and well-managed.

Candidate Requirements
You should have proven experience with DB and DC pensions, overseeing valuations, member communications, and working with advisors and trustees. Broader HR knowledge and understanding of benefits are also essential.
* Manage the DC pension governance agenda and meetings with advisors
* Maintain relationships and represent POL in matters related to legacy Royal Mail DB pension schemes, including triannual valuations
* Manage benefits materials on internal systems
* Deliver recognition and long service programmes
* Respond to escalated colleague queries as a subject matter expert
* Collaborate with the Head of Wellbeing on wellbeing-linked benefits
