Each of our services users has different needs and histories, so your day as a Support Worker will always be varied. Get to know the people you visit and help with tasks as varied as shopping, domestic chores, cooking and helping with medication. This may be a service, but it is a service that is delivered with genuine care for each individual.
Former care experience is always valued at AZ Caring Services, but it is not required. We set a high standard in the care sector and that standard is set by our employees. First and foremost, we are looking for somebody who is naturally considerate and caring. Caring for others is a vocation and our employees love what they do. So, if you don't have prior care experience then don't worry; training and support will be provided.

Applicant / Person Description - Support Worker (for Domiciliary Carer / Home Care work)

* Empathetic, kind and caring nature.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to follow guidelines and instructions whilst working independently.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Previous experience in care giving preferred but not essential.
* Driver with access to your own car (fuel allowance provided).
Job Description - Support Worker (for Domiciliary Carer / Home Care work)
* Provide companionship and engage in activities with the customer.
* Perform general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming.
* Assist with medication.
* Prepare meals and assist with meal planning.
* Run errands such as grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions.
* Assist with personal care.
Pay and Benefits - Support Worker (for Domiciliary Carer / Home Care work)
* Pay from £13.05 per hour.
* Mileage paid at £0.20 per mile.
* 28 days annual leave pro rata.
