An interim Financial Controller job paying up to £75k for a business based in Bromsgrove. Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover) Hays Senior Finance are pleased to be partnering with a small but growing retail/wholesale business based in Bromsgrove as they look to recruit a Financial Controller to cover a period of maternity leave. Our client is a leading designer and distributor of premium brands, and known for their innovation, quality and exceptional customer service. In this number one role, and reporting directly into the Managing Director, you will manage all aspects of the company's financial operations and play a pivotal part in key day-to-day activities whilst maintaining robust financial controls. Oversee the day-to-day running of the finance department Annual statutory accounts preparation and lead external audit Monthly sales analysis reporting Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Previous experience of working as a Financial Controller (or similar) in a busy SME finance function Detailed understanding of key day-to-day financial activities to include management accounting, statutory accounting, cashflow and VAT Proficient with finance systems (Sage 200 highly advantageous) and strong Excel skills to analyse/manipulate large data sets In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up £75,000 per annum and be given the opportunity to work for a forward-thinking company that foster a supportive and collaborative culture.
