Basic Salary: £28,000 - £39,520
Contract: Full time, Term time only

As a Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in enriching the learning experiences of our youngest pupils, who have a diverse range of special educational and learning needs. You will collaborate with our dedicated teaching staff to help students gain independence and fully engage in the curriculum and school life.
Your Role and Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that align with the national curriculum while addressing the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
* Support the class team in creating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
* Monitor and report on pupils' progress and concerns, collaborating with other staff to meet individual needs.
* Supervise pupils during non-classroom times, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
* Build positive relationships with pupils to foster interaction and achieve positive learning outcomes in a nurturing environment.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A strong educational background, ideally to degree level.
* Previous successful teaching experience.
* Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
* Proficiency in behavior management techniques.
* A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, the cost of which will be covered by Kirby Moor School.
