Role Overview
Aero Engine Movement Co‑ordinator – responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant air freight shipping of customer engines worldwide, providing technical advice, managing stakeholder expectations, and driving continuous improvement of SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide flawless service to ensure safe and compliant air freight shipping of customer engines globally.
* Offer technical guidance to stations, hauliers, and airlines to align handling and transport with SOPs.
* Execute SOP processes, ensuring all steps and milestones are met on time.
* Work closely with local DGF stations to ensure SOP compliance.
* Accurately calculate quotes to maintain compliance.
* Conduct pre‑shipment quality calls to confirm shipping plans.
* Communicate with suppliers, including truck companies and airlines.
* Liaise with customer contacts to understand requirements, manage expectations, and provide progress updates.
* Act as the liaison between shipper, consignee, DGF teams, suppliers, and the customer.
* Identify and resolve issues, finding solutions to keep the engine safe and meet customer expectations.
* Complete daily tasks in line with defined SOPs.

* Experience working with overseas teams.
* Support change and suggest development ideas.
* Process driven – able to follow a process thoroughly and improve non‑conformance.
* Freight forwarding experience (air preferred).
* Good customer service skills.
* Ensure all interactions comply with DPDHL Code of Conduct and other compliance requirements (e.g., anti‑corruption).
* Contribute to the First Choice continuous improvement program.

Hours/Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week (shift requirements and one in eight weekends on call).
Reports to: Centre of Excellence Team Leader.
