Themain duties of the ActivitiesCoordinatorare:
Tohave responsibility for the delivery of innovative and creativeactivities to a wide range of individuals ensuring they meet theneeds of people.
Totake responsibility for appropriate health and safetyconsiderations of activities and complete risk assessments asneeded.
Totake responsibility for a group of service users ensuring theirbasic needs aremet.
Keep an up todate support plan for each service user and update individual riskassessments profiles of support as required.
Liaise directlywith colleagues and involved health care professionals.
Tohave responsibility for the day to day coordination and delivery ofactivities ensuring all are delivered within agreed budgets.
Toensure effective communication between service users staff familiessupport staff and other professionals.
Topromote excellent health and safety practices at all times withinthe residents home and when supporting residents in the community.
Tobe aware of infection control issues within the home ensuring highstandards of personal hygiene and a clean environment aremaintained at all times.
Anyother reasonable duties relating to the resident s needs.
