£13.50 per hour - working 6.00am - 8.00am, Mon- Fri
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our friendly and busy team to clean a factory and offices in Newton Abbot. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and possess a keen eye for detail. Duties will include sweeping, mopping and hoovering, cleaning the toilets to a high standard, wiping mirrors, dusting, sanitising high touch areas etc. This role is essential in ensuring the premises are clean and sanitised for both staff and visitors each day. Steel toe cap boots must be work during each shift. These can be provided.
Free parking onsite. Full training and uniform will be provided. Start date 6th October 2025, £13.50 starting hourly rate, Paid monthly
Responsibilities
* Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
* Clean and maintain bathrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
* Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
* Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly in accordance with COSHH.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
* Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in cleanliness.
* Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
* Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
* Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety regulations.
* A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues.
