You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering a new build school project that will create essential learning spaces for generations to come.
Your Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be at the heart of managing the commercial aspects of our projects. Your expertise will ensure value, quality, and compliance at every stage. Collaborating closely with our supply chain, clients, and internal teams, you’ll drive excellence from procurement to final account.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage subcontractor procurement and payments
* Provide timely and accurate information for CVR reporting
* Support change control and risk mitigation alongside the Senior Quantity Surveyor
* Conduct site measurements to assess subcontractor payment applications
* Collaborate with site and design teams to capture and cost all project variations
* Prepare information for client payment applications
* Offer commercial advice to project teams as needed
What We’re Looking For:
* A degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
* Experience in main contracting, preferably on education or public sector projects
* Knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
* A full UK driving licence
* Located in the North East of England, with the ability to travel to office and site locations
