Are you someone who thrives at the intersection of business and technology?
This role is for someone who enjoys translating business needs into smart system solutions. If you’ve got hands-on experience with SaaS platforms and a knack for configuration, this could be your next big step.
A bit about the job
We’re looking for a SaaS Configuration Analyst to join our Transformation team. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, SMEs and Technical Teams to shape and deliver configuration changes across platforms like Salesforce, Guidewire, and SEND. You’ll be part of a persistent team, helping us deliver change safely, efficiently, and in line with our SaaS Target Operating Model and governance standards. You’ll take business requirements and turn them into system configurations, support testing and deployment, and act as a subject matter expert for platform capabilities. It’s a role that blends analysis, configuration, and collaboration – all in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Responsibilities
* Translate business needs into actionable system configurations for SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Guidewire).
* Own configuration changes end-to-end, including testing and deployment support.
* Collaborate with Product Owners, SMEs and Technical Teams to shape solution delivery.
* Ensure changes adhere to governance and the SaaS Target Operating Model.
* Provide subject matter expertise on platform capabilities and best practices.
Qualifications
* Experience in a hybrid Business Analyst / Systems Configuration role, ideally in London Markets.
* Hands-on configuration experience with SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Guidewire).
* Strong understanding of change and release governance in regulated environments.
* Ability to translate business needs into actionable system configurations.
* Comfortable working in Agile teams using tools like Jira and Confluence.
What you’ll get for this role
* Salary: National £45,000 - £60,000 and London £55,000 - £70,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
* Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary (amount depends on performance and Aviva’s results).
* Generous pension scheme - Aviva contributions up to 14% depending on your contributions.
* 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, with option to buy or sell up to 5 days.
* Aviva-funded Private Medical Benefit for expert support when you need it.
* Discounts on Aviva products and other retailer discounts.
* Up to £1,200 of free Aviva shares per year through our Matching Share Plan and Save As You Earn scheme.
* Parental and carer’s leave, and flexible benefits including sustainability options such as cycle to work.
* Paid volunteering days and wellbeing support.
