Electronics Test Engineer Ref. 952
This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week or part-time with a minimum coverage of 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Flexible or compressed working hours are available.
This role is based in the office.

As an engineer, you understand the importance of products functioning as designed and meeting customer needs. Imagine that your product is used by the UK government to help keep our country safe. Your role is crucial in this context.
You will engage with end users to understand their requirements, develop appropriate test solutions, conduct lab tests and real-world trials, and ensure your products perform reliably when needed. You will document results, analyze product behavior, and provide updates to stakeholders. Your technical reports will be key in assessing product readiness for deployment.
You will work with technologies such as RF, cellular, GPS, tracking, audio, and video systems at various lifecycle stages. You will help define evaluation approaches and may need to lift test equipment weighing up to 25kg, which is manageable with two people.
Your career development will be supported through coaching, mentoring, training courses, and accreditation.
More About You
To apply, you should have:
* An HND or equivalent experience in Electronics/Communications engineering or related field.
* Experience performing electronics tests and measurements.
* Experience documenting test results and procedures.
* A full UK driving licence.
Beneficial but not essential, you may also have:
* Experience in RF systems and antennas, Cellular & Wireless technology (5G, LTE, UMTS, GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), GPS systems, or Audio/Video technology.
* Experience developing test plans or conducting user trials.
* Experience in technical report writing.
* Ability to guide, coach, or train less experienced engineers.
