The Role
Due to further expansion, my client is looking to recruit into its engineering team. You will be involved in engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, working on several fast moving packaging lines driven by PLC automated machinery. They have Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi on site in Harrogate. The ideal candidate will come from a fast moving machinery background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with an electrical bias. On a day to day basis, you will be involved in general mechanical work within a manufacturing plant. There is a huge amount of variety on offer, machinery wise, with a cross over between electrical and mechanical work, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
