This is a pivotal Group-level role that will shape and drive the wider Health & Safety strategy across a complex, multi-site UK operation. Sitting at the heart of the senior leadership team, this is your chance to take real ownership of a function that’s critical to the long-term success and safety culture of a business at the top of its game.
PACKAGE:
Circa. £100k + Package
The Role:
* Leading the UK-wide H&S agenda across a diverse operational footprint.
* Working closely with site leadership teams to embed a progressive, best-in-class safety culture.
* Developing and implementing H&S strategy, policy, and governance in line with business growth and regulatory change.
* Leading risk management frameworks, incident investigations, legal compliance, and HSE governance systems.
* Building and mentoring a team of HSE professionals while engaging cross-functionally to raise capability and awareness.
* Representing the business with regulatory bodies (HSE, EA) and contributing to global HSE leadership forums.
This role would ideally suit an individual with a deep and strategic understanding of Health and Safety who has operated at an operational / multi-site / group level previously.
Requirements?
* Extensive multi-site Health, Safety & Environmental leadership experience.
* A track record of delivering HSE cultural transformation and sustained performance improvements.
* Strong Environmental and Sustainability credentials — including impact mitigation and carbon strategy.
* NEBOSH Diploma and Chartered IOSH status essential; IEMA (or equivalent) preferred.
* Working knowledge of BCP/crisis management, risk assessments, audit frameworks, and modern HSE systems (Power BI, SharePoint, etc.).
