We’re looking for an enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Barnet this September. You’ll be teaching students how to design, create, and evaluate projects that combine imagination with real-world skills.
The school has fantastic workshop facilities, a collaborative team, and leadership that values practical learning.

Your role will include:
* Teaching D&T across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 optional)
* Delivering engaging lessons in areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, and Graphics
* Encouraging safe and effective use of tools, equipment, and materials
* Inspiring students to think like designers, engineers, and innovators

We’d love to hear from you if you:
* Hold QTS and have experience teaching Design & Technology in UK secondary schools
* Can blend creativity with technical knowledge
* Have a strong focus on safety and precision in practical work
* Enjoy seeing ideas go from sketchbook to finished product

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
