This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced customer service or financial services professional seeking a varied and rewarding role within a member-focused organisation."About the JobReporting to the Branch Area Manager, the Cashier / Administrator will support the day-to-day operation by providing excellent member service, processing financial transactions and assisting with branch administration.The successful candidate will be responsible for and assisting with completing the following duties:Deliver exceptional member service across face-to-face, telephone and online channelsProcess member transactions including lodgements, withdrawals, transfers, account openings and account reactivationsIssue member loans and ensure all lending conditions have been satisfiedHandle and resolve member queries efficiently and professionallyAccurately handle cash and complete daily balancing and reconciliationsPrepare end-of-day banking procedures and lodgements for Cash In Transit collectionUpdate and maintain member records to ensure database accuracySupport branch administration and operational activitiesWork flexibly across multiple branch locations as requiredParticipate in ongoing training and development initiativesYour Skills & Experience EssentialMinimum 2 years' experience in a similar customer-facing or financial services role5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including English and MathsPrevious cash handling and cash security experienceStrong customer service experienceExperience working within financial services environmentExperience using banking systems or financial softwareFull clean driving licence and access to your own vehicleKey SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong customer service and relationship-building abilitiesHigh levels of confidentiality, integrity and professionalismStrong organisational and time management skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentFlexible approach to changing business needsStrong teamwork skills and a positive attitudeCommitment to delivering an outstanding member experienceFor further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career, get in touch with Ollie Mairs at HireIQ in complete confidence.WHJS1_NI
